The Khojali genocide was commemorated in Prague’s Staromestke square organized by Azerbaijan Student Network with the support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan on February 24, 2019. The locals, students, member of the Azerbaijani Diaspora attended to the event.

Eldar Valiyev, head of Azerbaijan Network Student briefed about Khojali Genocide which was committed by the Armenians and also stressed the importance of holding such events for paying tribute to Khojali victims.

Afterward the tribute was paid to the victims of the Khojali genocide with a one minute silence and by lighting candles. Jiri Jelinek the Czech vionolist, performed on viola various pieces in memory of innocent victims of Khojali genocide.
