• General information about visas:

• To obtain a visa for travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan the required documents must be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy.
• Processing time of issuing visa – from 10 to 15 days.
• Office hours are from 10:00 – 12:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
• People who are not citizens of Czech Republic must bring their long-term residence permit card that allows them to stay in the Czech Republic.
• All foreigners visiting Azerbaijan for a period of more than 10 days must register their passports with the local passport-registration authorities.

1) Business visa

a)For short-term single entry visa: Visa can be issued up to 30 days at the Embassy. You need invitation letter (with signature and stamp) from partner company in Azerbaijan.

b)For long-term multiple entry visa: An invitation from Azerbaijan (Invitation must be sent through Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan).

Required documents to obtain business visa:

• Invitation sent through Consular Department of  MFA
• if you apply for long-term multiple entry visa
• Invitation letter (with signature and stamp) from partner company in Azerbaijan
• if you apply for short-term visa (maximum 30 days)
• One completed visa application form (use Google Chrome). Please visit evisa.mfa.gov.az
• please, answer all questions by typing or clearly printing in ink on both left and right sides of the application
• Valid passport or travel document (expiry date should be minimum 6 months)
• Copy of passport
• Two passport-sized photos (3,5 x 4,5 cm)
• Hotel confirmation
• Flight ticket confirmation
• Travel insurance
• Consular fee for issuing visas
• after checking all required documents by Consular Section of the Embassy, the visa fee should be paid at any Raiffeisenbank´s branch.
• from September 1, 2014 all kind of entry visas (except transit visa) for EU citizens, except Denmark, United Kingdom and Ireland, cost 35 euros. Diplomatic passports are free-exempt.
• The Embassy will not be able to reimburse payments that have been done without the agreement of Consular Section.

2) Tourist visa

Tourist visas are issued up to 30 days at the Embassy.

Required documents to obtain tourist visa:

• Valid passport or travel document
• Copy of passport
• Two passport-sized photos (3,5 x 4,5 cm)
• One completed visa application form (use Google Chrome). Please visit evisa.mfa.gov.az

• Flight ticket confirmation
• Hotel confirmation
• Travel insurance
• Consular fee for issuing visas

* after checking all required documents by Consular Section of the Embassy, the visa fee should be paid at any Raiffeisenbank branch.

3) Transit visa

The validity of single transit visa is 3 days (20 USD), double transit visa - 5 days (40 USD).

The applicant has to submit to the Consular Section one week prior to a trip:

• Valid passport or travel document
• Copy of passport
• Two passport-sized photos (3,5 x 4,5 cm)
• Valid entry visa to a country of destination
• Round trip ticket
• One completed visa application form (use Google Chrome). Please visit evisa.mfa.gov.az
