On December 5, 2018, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Czech Republic the annual presentation of the European-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce in Prague was held at the New Living Center in Prague city.

. The event was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in the Czech Republic, members of Czech business circles, as well as Azerbaijani businessmen’s engaged in business activity in the Czech Republic.
At the event, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Czech Republic Mr. Farid Shafiyev delivered a speech, highlighting the current situation and prospects of bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic. He highly appreciated the activity of the European-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce in contributing to the expansion of economic relations between the two countries and wished success in its future activities.
The Executive Director of the Azerbaijan-European Chamber of Commerce, David Snášel, spoke about the Chamber's role in further developing business relations between entrepreneurs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic. He said that during the current year the Chamber has contributed its input for the establishment of TATRA's cooperation with Ganja Automobile Plant, as well as for the implementation of the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Czech Republic under the leadership of Ismayilli Region Executive Authority Mirdamad Sadigov and the delegation of Czech businessmen under the leadership of the Mayor of the city of Hluboka nad Vltavou to Azerbaijan.
